Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin has lauded the contributions of the 8th Parliament, underscoring the achievement of the hung Parliament to Ghana's democracy.
Bagbin while making a statement on the floor of the House on Thursday said the hung Parliament has been adjudged as the best ever parliament in the 4th Republic of Ghana.
Bagbin disagreed with critics who believes that the hung Parliament caused a dent on Ghana's democracy. "Let it not be said anywhere that the 8th Parliament of the Republic of Ghana did not perform well.
Political scientists have adjudged the 8th Parliament as one of the best-hung parliaments in the world," he said on Thursday, January 23, 2025.
