A former Chief Executive Officer of the National Identification Authority (NIA), Osei Kwame Griffiths, has called for unity and a collective sense of purpose among appointees and party members to ensure the success of the current government.
Speaking in an interview with KMJ on Joy Prime, Griffiths stressed the importance of managing expectations, fostering inclusivity, and ensuring commitment to national progress.
Reflecting on his experience in the Ashanti Region before and after elections, Griffiths shared an important realization: "When you talk to people, you have women come to you, they sell plantain, and someone says something that makes you understand their expectations." He emphasized the need to manage voters' expectations effectively, as it is a critical element in elections and governance.
Griffiths highlighted the enthusiasm of individuals, including teachers and assembly workers, during election campaigns.
