Parliament has approved an additional six ministerial nominees submitted by President John Dramani Mahama, moving closer to finalising his ministerial team.

The appointments were confirmed in two batches on Thursday, 23 January, following thorough vetting by the Appointments Committee and a comprehensive debate on the floor of Parliament.

The session was chaired by the Second Deputy Speaker, Andrew Asiamah Amoako, who oversaw the proceedings.

After hours of deliberation, both the Majority and Minority caucuses unanimously endorsed the nominees, recognising them as competent leaders prepared to oversee their respective ministries effectively.
