Former Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the Forestry Commission, Iddrisu Musah Superior, has described former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo as a very proud and arrogant person.

According to him, the attitude demonstrated by the former president, commanding some chiefs to stand up and greet him on official assignments, was disgusting. " How do you go out there and tell chiefs to stand up and greet you? I think it was arrogance because if you have the audacity to tell chiefs to stand up and greet you, it means you have lost your values." He lashed out at the former President in an interview monitored by MyNewsGh.com He argued that no person from a traditional home would disrespect chiefs as was in the case of the former President. " There's nobody who does not come from a traditional area and you need to respect our chiefs.

If a chief doesn't get up and greet you just greet them and continue with the purpose you visited them. But we saw forcefully and angrily the way he was instructing chiefs with his bodyguard leading the activity for the Chiefs to get up and greet him and people didn't like that behaviour." He bemoaned The former Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) outburst follows controversy generated on social media regarding the alleged disrespect of the former president during his regime.

It would be recalled that early last year, a viral video from a funeral in the Ashanti Region showed the then-president instructing a chief to stand up before shaking hands with him.
