John Ansah, former Vice Chairman of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA), has been elected as the new Chairman of the association.

The highly anticipated election took place on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at the Accra Sports Stadium, drawing attention from stakeholders in Ghanaian football.

The chairmanship race was a keenly contested two-horse battle between John Ansah and renowned sports lawyer Isaac Wilberforce Koomson.

Ansah, reportedly backed by Ghana Football Association (GFA) President Kurt Okraku, emerged victorious with a landslide win.
