The  King of the Igbo Commu­nity in Ghana, Dr Eze Chuk­wudi Ihenetu, was awarded with the Africa Living Legend Award in Accra last week for his remarkable contributions to society.

The award was presented to him, especially for his signifi­cant initiatives in the field of education, health and promo­tion of peace in his capacity as a global peace ambassador.

Dr Ihenetu, who grabbed this prestigious award expressed gratitude for the recognition and touched on the need for peace on various platforms and promised to continue to work to improve the lot of needy people. "I am always happy to serve humanity because I believe that being each other's keeper is all that matters.

We should always be there to support vulnerable ones as humans," he added.
