Youth Development and Empowerment Minister-designate George Opare Addo has assured the youth of Ghana of running an open-door ministry to allow for all Ghanaian youth to benefit from the ministry.

He says his ministry will serve the interest of the country and not the interest of the political party he represents.

These comments came on the back of a question he was asked by Member of Parliament for Old Tafo, Vincent Ekow Assafuah on whether he will be open to work with the youth from other political divides.

He said, "Mr Chairman poverty knows no political colour and when Mr President nominated me, the first statement I put out was that my doors are open for anybody irrespective of political party, creed, religion or ethnicity.
