Minister-designate for Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts, Abla Dzifa Gomashie, has vowed to prioritize the promotion of Ghana's tourist attractions, including the Mole National Park.
Appearing before the Appointments Committee of Parliament on January 22, 2025, she highlighted the importance of enhancing local tourism by leveraging the potential of Mole National Park in Northern Ghana for national development.
Gomashie emphasized the need for increased investment in the tourism sector to boost visitor patronage and create economic benefits.
She also pledged to collaborate with Municipal Chief Executives (MCEs) to incorporate tourism promotion into their development agendas. "I agree with you that Mole National Park for years is one of the least of sites that are usually visited [patronised] by visitors.
