Executive Director of Global InfoAnalytics, Mussa Dankwah, has said Ghanaians must realise that per the current status quo in the 1992 Constitution, no Member of Parliament has the right to be appointed a minister or entitled to be appointed to any position for that matter.

To that end, he called on them to manage their disappointment when their preferred MP is not appointed as a Minister.

Mussa Dankwa was reacting to the incident where a group of agitated youth of the National Democratic Congress in the Ho Central Constituency invaded the party office in Ho on Tuesday and set ablaze several office items.

Though members of the group are yet to be identified, their actions are believed to be connected to a growing discontent among party members over the failure of President Mahama to make any appointment from the constituency.
