President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Nana Oye Bampoe Addo as Deputy Chief of Staff (Administration), a significant appointment that brings a wealth of experience in human rights, social justice, and governance to the heart of the Ghanaian presidency.
Nana Oye Bampoe Addo is a renowned human rights lawyer with over three decades of experience in the field.
She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Ghana, Legon, and a Masters in Law (LLM) in Human Rights and Democratisation in Africa from the University of Pretoria, South Africa. Her career has been dedicated to advancing human rights and social justice at the international, regional, and national levels.
As the Africa Regional Coordinator for the Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative, she championed human rights causes across the continent.
