Running mate of the New Patriotic Party, Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh has shared a "profound" advice he received from President Akufo-Addo in 2011. Speaking during the manifesto launch of the party on Sunday, August 18, Dr. Opoku Prempeh often referred to as NAPO recalled being invited by President Akufo-Addo for a conversation at a famous hotel in Bolgatanga late night around 2:00am. NAPO said the President offered an advice expressing his concern for the party to remain in office in 2016 if they win the 2012 elections.
