The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Euroget De-Invest, contractors of the Ashanti Regional Hospital, Mr Said Derez, has appealed to the government to honour its obligations under the contract to enable it complete all the remaining uncompleted hospitals and hand over for use by the public.
According to the company it remained committed to completing the Ashanti Regional hospital and all others that were at various levels of completion. "Euroget De-Invest S.A remains committed to completing the Ashanti Regional 250-bed hospital to the highest standards and fulfilling our contractual obligations.
We hope that this situation can be resolved amicably and that government will recognise the importance of following due process in all its dealings, "it said.
A statement signed by Mr Said Derez said his outfit was yet to receive full payment for the construction of the hospital.
