Nigerian actress Ini Edo has shared her emotional journey with miscarriages and surrogacy, revealing rare insights into her personal life during season three of "Young, Famous & African".
She spoke candidly about her struggles, noting she had experienced over six miscarriages and multiple failed IVF attempts.
Ini expressed how challenging and emotionally taxing these experiences were for her, acknowledging that she never expected to face fertility issues. "I never thought I would be someone who had fertility issues," she confessed, adding that it was not an easy decision to turn to surrogacy.
Ini explained that her decision to pursue surrogacy came after considering all her options, especially as she was getting older and the chances of carrying a pregnancy seemed unlikely. "When it looked like it was not going to happen the way I wanted it to happen, I said, 'What are the options?'" she said.
