Frank Kwaku Appiah, popularly known as Appiah Stadium, a Kumasi-based political activist and staunch supporter of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), added his presence to the vibrant celebration of the first Akwasidae Kese of 2025 in Kumasi.

Draped in an elegant white Kente cloth, which he wore below his waist as a sign of respect, Appiah Stadium knelt before the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, in a gesture of reverence to the King of the Ashanti Kingdom.

Demonstrating his characteristic sense of humour, Appiah Stadium lightened the mood of the gathering by laying prostrate after shaking hands with the king, drawing smiles from the chiefs and people present.

His actions added a unique touch to the occasion, reflecting the harmony of tradition, respect, and communal spirit that defines the Akwasidae Kese celebration.
