The Acting Spokesperson to President John Mahama has defended the President's use of a private jet owned by his brother, Ibrahim Mahama, for official trips to Senegal and The Gambia.
Addressing public concerns, Felix Kwakye Ofosu explained that the private jet had been at the President's disposal even before the 2024 general elections.
He stressed that this arrangement does not impose any financial burden on the Ghanaian taxpayer, as the jet was provided at no cost.
He reassured the public of President Mahama's dedication to prudent financial management and sensitivity to Ghana's economic challenges.
