Private legal practitioner Moses Foh-Amoaning has called on President to reinstate the Ministry of Information, citing its importance to the country.

According to Foh-Amoaning, scrapping the ministry could have negative consequences for Ghana.

The scrapping of some ministries was part of President Mahama's campaign promise to reduce the number of ministries from 30 to 23 during the 2024 elections.

However, during an exclusive interview with Onua FM's Nana Yaa Brefo, Foh-Amoaning expressed his disagreement with the decision to abolish the Ministry of Information saying: "One of the ministries they have ignored, which I have issues with, is the Information Ministry.
