Kenneth Agyemang Attafuah, the former Executive Secretary of the National Identification Authority (NIA), has taken to Facebook to clarify a recent letter circulating on social media, which purported to revoke his appointment.
The letter, dated January 16, 2025, directed Attafuah to hand over his duties to Mr.
Wisdom Kwaku Deku, who was appointed as the Acting Executive Secretary of NIA.
Attafuah explained in his post: "I retired from the Public Service of Ghana as Executive Secretary of the National Identification Authority (NIA) on 13th November 2024.
