A clearer account of the shooting incident involving Ghanaian journalist Stephen Kofi Adoma Nwanwani has emerged, shedding light on the circumstances surrounding the shocking event.
Miracle Adoma, also known as Nana Abena Etruba, the Benkumhene of Gomoa Amanful and wife of Kofi Adoma, recounted the details during a recent interview.
Describing the tragedy, she revealed, "The entire incident was captured on camera and will be shared on social media at the appropriate time." Kofi Adoma had been invited to serve as the official journalist for the festival, a role he embraced with his usual dedication, arriving with his media team to document the event.
As is tradition during such festivities, musketeers performed ceremonial gunfire to mark the arrival of 'eye red' men-a practice symbolizing strength and valour.
