Private legal practitioner George Opare Addo has expressed heartfelt gratitude to President John Dramani Mahama for nominating him as the Minister-Designate for Youth Development and Empowerment.
In a statement copied to Mynewsgh.com, Mr Opare Addo described the nomination as both a personal milestone and a collective opportunity to redefine the narrative for Ghana's youth. "This story belongs to you, the young people of our nation, and we will write it together," he affirmed.
Declaring that "today is Day 1," Mr Opare Addo stressed the urgency of implementing transformative policies to empower Ghanaian youth.
He pledged to lead with a vision centred on job creation, poverty alleviation, and the empowerment of millions of young people. "My vision is clear: to deploy and implement the most aggressive and transformative policy framework for youth development in the history of our beloved country," he stated.
