The National Democratic Congress (NDC) under the leadership of John Dramani Mahama made several promises to the youth of Ghana during the 2024 electioneering campaign.
These promises were documented in what they described as the youth manifesto.
The development of the youth, according to the then-opposition leader, will be the sole prerogative of the Youth Development and Empowerment Minister.
Today, January 16, 2025, the President has announced the appointment of the Youth Organizer for the NDC as the minister-designate for the Youth Development and Empowerment Ministry.
