The President, John Dramani Mahama has sought Parliament's approval of Dr Frank Amoakohene as the Ashanti Regional Minister.
Dr Amoakohene is among 10 persons announced as regional ministers-designate.
The formal communication was addressed to the Speaker, Alban Bagbin.
The regional ministers-designate for the six regions remaining will be announced in due course.
