The Minority in Parliament has condemned Operation Recover All Loot's (ORAL) operations, describing them as unconstitutional and threatening the nation's legal framework.

At a press conference on Wednesday, January 15, the Suame MP John Darko opposed ORAL asserting that no serious country will entertain it.

He explained that the formation of ORAL violates the Constitution and undermines the authority of legally established institutions like the Police Criminal Investigation Department (CID), the Economic and Organised Crime Office (EOCO), and the Office of the Special Prosecutor. "It is concerning, and we want the people of Ghana to know that no serious country will entertain anything such as this," he noted.

ORAL is an initiative by the National Democratic Congress (NDC) government aimed at identifying, investigating, and recovering state assets believed to have been stolen by members of the former Akufo-Addo administration.
