Kwame Asare-Obeng, popularly known as A Plus, Gomoa Central MP, has issued a 48-hour ultimatum to the Ghana Police Service, demanding an update on the investigation into the murder of investigative journalist Ahmed Suale.
In a Facebook post on January 14, 2025, the Member of Parliament for Gomoa Central accused a high-ranking minister from the previous New Patriotic Party (NPP) administration of being behind the killing.
A Plus recalled an encounter on July 15, 2024, when he was invited by the police to assist in the investigation.
During the meeting, he identified a key minister from the previous government, claiming the minister had hired assailants to carry out the murder.
