Scores of journalists have been trained to intensify the fight against child labour, especially in cocoa growing areas.
The training programme was organized by the International Cocoa Initiative (ICI) in partnership with the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA).
The two-day capacity building workshop held at Assin Fosu in the Central Region on January 13, focused on training participants in reporting on child labour.
At the workshop, participants engaged key stakeholders; including officials from the social welfare, Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice, as well as the Ghana Education Service.
