The National Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Stephen Ayensu Ntim has urged members of the party to stop complaints, opinions, or arguments expressed in a forceful or animated manner. He has urged the party to unite ahead of the December polls. He said that was to ensure that the party secured victory in the December polls. Speaking at the party's manifesto launch in Takoradi on Sunday, the NPP's national chairman also urged Ghanaians to support the party's flagbearer Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and parliamentary candidates. "I humbly call on all Ghanaians to support our party's flagbearer Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and all our Parliamentary Candidates in the upcoming general elections," he stated. He added to all party faithfuls "Let's close our ranks to ensure winning this election ahead of us." The Majority Leader in Parliament, Alexander Afenyo-Markin, also urged the New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidates and members of the party to actively campaign and secure victories in both the presidential and parliamentary elections.
