Minority Leader, Alexander Afenyo-Markin has asked the government to keep the power on just as the Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo government did in the last eight years.
He has asked that the government stop shifting blame on the previous government and get to work to ensure that Ghanaians are provided with light.
Afenyo-Markin who was speaking at Parliament's Appointment Committee sitting in Parliament when he made this known.
He wants the Energy Minister nominee to provide Ghanaians with a comprehensive plan that will outline strategies they intends to implement to ensure that "Stop shifting the blame of the so-called looming power crisis onto the previous government.
