The statue of former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, situated at the Effia-Nkwanta Regional Hospital in Sekondi, has been completely destroyed by unidentified individuals.
Unveiled on November 6, 2024, to honour the former president, Nana Addo, the statue initially suffered damage to its left leg in December 2024.
At that time, a gaping hole was discovered but it was repaired immediately by some concerned citizens.
Anyway, in the early hours of January 13, 2025, the statue was found completely toppled and destroyed, with significant damage from the head to the knee.
