Ghana reached an important milestone as the nation held its 9th Presidential and Vice Presidential inauguration ceremony, where President and Vice President Professor took the Oath of Office on Jnauary 7, 2025.
One of the amusing moments at the event occurred when former President congratulated John Mahama and Professor Opoku-Agyemang.
After congratulating the President and Vice President, former President Akufo-Addo went on to congratulate Speaker of Parliament Alban Bagbin, who had been re-elected for a second term prior to the inauguration.
Upon reaching the Speaker, Akufo-Addo, who appeared excited to see him, exclaimed, "Uncle, twice elected," with a giggle.
