Residents of the Ablekuma North Constituency in the Greater Accra Region are the only people currently without representation in the 9th Parliament of Ghana.
The of Ghana (EC) has still not completed the re-collation of the constituency's 2024 parliamentary election results after cancelling the initially declared results, which were in favour of the candidate of the (NDC), Ewurabena Aubynn.
The EC annulled the declaration and ordered a re-collation of the results, stating that it was done without the results from about 61 polling stations.
After backs-and-forths in court over the matter, the re-collation was done, but the results of 13 polling stations were in contention, with the EC, the NDC, and the (NPP) claiming they had no pink sheets from the said stations.
