The Member of Parliament for Assin South, Rev.
John Ntim Fordjuor, has charged President to deliver on the numerous promises he made to Ghanaians prior to assuming office.
According to the Deputy Minister of Education under the administration of President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, Mahama shouldn't use the excuse of having only one term in office to fail the nation on his promises.
Speaking in an interview on Okay FM on January 8, 2024, he reminded the president of some of his promises, including the inclusion of the private sector in the Free SHS policy and the signing of the Promotion of Proper Human Sexual Rights and Ghanaian Family Values Bill 2021 (anti-LGBT bill), among others. "We wish them well, but the promises and all the things that he said he will do…sector by sector, Free SHS, promising the private sector inclusion, free level hundred entry into tertiary education, his promise to end dumsor, what he said about the LGBT bill that he would have signed if he was president. "Ghanaians have written all those promises down and are waiting for him to deliver.
