The (EC) has stated that it will ensure the returning officer for the Ablekuma North Constituency completes the collation of parliamentary results for the 2024 election.
The statement by the EC comes after Vincent Obeng announced his decision to resign from his role and called on the EC to find a replacement for him, citing frustrations during a collation exercise on January 8, 2024.
The Ablekuma North result, which has been under serious dispute between the (NDC) and the (NPP), was left incomplete on Wednesday, with three out of seven remaining polling stations outstanding.
