Former Chief of Staff Kwadwo Mpiani has indicated that he knew the New Patriotic Party (NPP) would lose the 2024 election.
The statesman said he spoke to several party folks about it, but they ignored him.
He believes that the NPP's failure has been long coming, blaming its genesis on the decision to remove the political party's elected chairman and general secretary.
To him, this gave the party and its control to one man, with every other person becoming a sycophant because they watched on as things turned out for the worse. "Unfortunately for the party and government, when you express concerns, you become an outcast because they think you don't like the president or the government; that is why you're behaving that way.
