In a historic ceremony held at the Black Star Square in Accra on January 7, 2025, John Dramani Mahama has been sworn in as Ghana's 6th President.

The event marks Mahama's return to the presidency after a decisive victory in the December 2024 elections.

The inauguration was attended by a diverse gathering of dignitaries, including 21 heads of state, three vice presidents, four ministers, and 24 envoys.

The atmosphere was charged with optimism and a renewed sense of purpose as Mahama took the oath of office, pledging to lead the nation towards economic recovery, social development, and national unity.
