Co-spokesperson of the NDC transition team, , has informed the public about planned traffic restrictions for the inauguration of President-Elect .
As part of security measures for the swearing-in ceremony of President Mahama and Vice President Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyeman, Kwakye Ofosu announced at a press conference on Saturday, January 4, 2025, that some roads around Osu will be temporarily closed on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.
The affected roads will reopen for public use shortly after the event.
The motoring public is hereby advised to take note of the following roads within Accra that will be closed temporarily: 28th February Road, from the CEPS Headquarters to the Castle Road Junction.
