President-elect John Dramani Mahama has expressed profound excitement over the overwhelming victory he secured in the recently concluded general elections.

With over 180 members of parliament in his camp, Mahama acknowledged the immense trust Ghanaians had placed in him, pledging to deliver on his promises and meet their expectations.

Reflecting on his campaign at the Wind and Fire Assemblies of God Church in Tamale, the president-elect noted that during his visits to various chiefs, he received unwavering support, with many leaders requesting their representatives be considered for ministerial roles.

However, he stressed his commitment to maintaining a lean government, sticking to his earlier pledge of appointing only 60 ministers.
