The Director of Legal Affairs for the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Godwin Edudzi Tameklo, has refuted claims that the party is apprehensive about a rerun of elections in the Dome Kwabenya constituency.
His remarks were in response to comments by Samuel Atta Akyea, MP for Abuakwa South, who questioned why the NDC, which claims victory, appears hesitant about a potential rerun.
The controversy stems from the Electoral Commission's (EC) decision to rerun elections at the Abokobi Women's Development Centre within the Dome Kwabenya constituency.
The NDC has rejected this directive.
