Three people were critically injured as a result of a horrific accident on the Kasoa-Winneba highway near the Gomoa Buduatta Junction in the Gomoa East District. The collision involved a container trailer with registration number GE 8891-18 headed to Takoradi and a tipper truck with registration number GN 2314-21 heading to Kasoa. The three injured individuals include a driver and two passengers. The accident occurred around 1:00AM on Friday, August 16, 2024. Initial reports indicated that the driver of the tipper truck was sleeping behind the wheel when the accident occurred.
