Apostle Lamptey recently addressed the silence of churches regarding the ongoing post-election tensions in Ghana during an appearance on TV3's "Hot Issues." He expressed concern that many religious institutions have largely refrained from commenting on the political climate following the controversial elections.

According to Lamptey, the apparent reluctance stems from a desire to maintain neutrality and avoid polarising their congregations.

He believes that churches have a pivotal role in fostering national unity and should not shy away from addressing pressing societal issues.

Lamptey emphasised that faith leaders need to guide their communities in navigating the aftermath of the elections, particularly in a nation grappling with divisions and unrest.
