The Frimpong-Manso Institute(FMI) has called on major players in Ghana's governance process, such as Parliament, the judiciary, and other pertinent institutions, to exercise extreme restraint and tact in their remarks and actions.
Rising tensions over the recall of contentious parliamentary results in certain constituencies coincide with this call.
The institute claims that without peace, the nation's enterprises and general economic situation will suffer significantly.
According to the Institute, it is the duty of organizations such as academic institutions, media outlets, business associations, civil society organizations, religious bodies, and traditional authority to guarantee Ghana's peaceful coexistence.
