The recent Supreme Court ruling on the recollation of votes in some constituencies has sparked praise from various quarters, including Kwame Andy Appiah Kubi, the Member of Parliament for Asante Akim North.

Speaking during an interview on TV3's Key Points on Saturday, December 28, Appiah Kubi commended the highest court for its decisive action and the clarity it provided in the ongoing election dispute. "The Supreme Court did a good job…the High Court ought to have allowed the NDC to make their case," Appiah Kubi remarked, referencing the earlier ruling by the High Court, which had been called into question.

According to the MP, the High Court's decision to deny the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) the opportunity to present its case was a misstep.

He emphasized that all parties involved should be allowed a fair chance to make their arguments in legal proceedings.
