The Police said the use of unauthorised emergency sirens and fog lights by motorists is prohibited under Ghana’s road traffic regulations.

Chief Inspector Atsor urged drivers to remove all unauthorised lighting and emergency devices from their vehicles and warned them against disregarding road traffic laws.

He added that the enforcement exercise forms part of a nationwide Police operation aimed at ensuring compliance with road traffic regulations and promoting safety and sanity on Ghana’s roads.
