Ghana's national 100m record holder, Benjamin Azamati, expressed his satisfaction after successfully hosting the third edition of the Junior Olympics event at the University of Ghana Stadium on Thursday.

Together with 2024 Olympic 100m semi-finalist Rasheed Abdul Saminu, Benjamin Azamati watched on as kids from different age groups made their way from the starting blocks to the finish line.

The Junior Olympics is an initiative that is aimed at acquiring and unearthing sprinting talent, honing the talent of kids, and raising their performance to the next level.

The concept was put together by renowned athletics coach Elorm Amenakpor and supported by Benjamin Azamati, among other athletic financiers.
