In a demonstration of corporate social responsibility, MTN has provided over 60 baby hampers to mothers who gave birth on December 25th at Cape Coast Teaching Hospital.
Priscilla Agyie, a midwifery officer representing the hospital and the Obstetrics and Gynecology department, expressed gratitude to the MTN Foundation for their generous contribution and assured that the hampers would benefit the mothers and their newborns.
In a media briefing following the presentation, Agyie revealed that the hospital recorded the birth of 12 babies on Christmas Day, consisting of four girls and eight boys.
She noted that the hampers from MTN would alleviate some of the challenges faced by mothers and hospital staff, particularly for those who struggle to afford essential baby items after childbirth.
