Lawyer Kwame Jantuah, a senior member of the Convention People's Party (CPP), has raised concerns about President Akufo-Addo's credibility, citing inconsistencies in his words and actions. "The president said he's put his presidency on the line to tackle Galamsey, but has he done so?" Mr. Jantuah asked on the Weekly Review Segment on Starr FM with Lantam Papanko. "Galamsey has reached our roads, hasn't it? He said there would be no haircuts, but we're experiencing economic hardship." Mr. Jantuah also questioned the President's response to the 'Agyapadie' document. "If the president feels his opponents are defaming him, he should take them to court. But he can't, because the document's contents are too similar to what's happening in the country."
