A level 100 student at Apenteng Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED) has been remanded in prison custody by the Asante Akropong circuit court for allegedly defiling a 13-year-old girl.

Raynus Ofori Mensah pleaded not guilty to the defilement charge but told the court he had been in a relationship with the victim for four months.

The court, presided over by Gloria Mensah Bonsu, adjourned the case to December 8, 2025.

Police Chief Inspector Ruth Gborson, prosecuting the case, narrated the events leading to the arrest.
