The Ghanaian Education Minister has assured that the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) results will be released by December 29, despite the significant debt owed to the institution.
According to reports, Ghana owes WAEC over GHc400 million (approx. $60 million) in arrears.
However, the Minister has expressed confidence that the outstanding amount will not hinder the timely release of the results.
The Minister further indicated that efforts are being made to invest in alternative funding options to resolve the outstanding debt.
