The outgoing Akufo-Addo government harassed officials of the previous Mahama administration with armed police officers when they took over in 2017, Private legal practitioner and a member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Godwin Edudzi Tameklo has said.
He recounted that former Deputy Attorney-General Dr Dominic Ayine woke up one morning and armed police officers had stormed his home over a legal advice he gave.
Speaking on the Key Points on TV3 Saturday, December 21 in relation to the Operation Recover All Loots (ORAL)team, he said "If this process that was used by President Akufo-Addo is used against the outgoing officials they will not survive this country.
You have no idea what is coming, don't wish the committee to fail, calm down …due process will be complied with." He stressed "If the approach adopted by Akufo-Addo is used, you will not survive this country, he said " Prior to his submission, Old Tafo lawmaker Vincent Ekow Assafuah has said.
