The Electoral Commission (EC) has resumed the re-collation of results for nine contested constituencies, with heightened security measures in place at its Greater Accra Regional Office in Ridge, Accra.
The exercise, aimed at ensuring transparency and accuracy in the final election results, follows political tensions and public concern over alleged irregularities in the collation process during the general elections.
The constituencies under re-collation include Nsawam Adoagyiri, Ahafo Ano South West, Ahafo Ano North, Obuasi East, Okaikwei Central, Ablekuma North, Tema Central, Techiman South, and Dome Kwabenya.
These areas have been the subject of disputes, and the EC is working to resolve any discrepancies in the results.
