Ghanaian actor and producer Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin has shared his disappointment over Van Vicker's unexpected decision to withdraw from a key role in his latest movie, 'A Country Called Ghana.' In an interview on Lawson FM with Kwame Tanko, Lilwin described the situation as a major setback for the production. "Van Vicker's withdrawal was a huge letdown," Lilwin said, his frustration clear. "His role was pivotal, and we had everything planned out.

But at the last moment, he didn't show up, leaving us in a tight spot." With the production at risk, Lilwin made the bold move to bring in renowned Nigerian actor Ramsey Nouah as a replacement.

However, this decision came with a hefty price tag. "The amount I paid Ramsey could have covered the fees of every top Ghanaian actor, with some change left over," Lilwin revealed. "It was a serious investment, but I had no choice." Despite the challenges, Lilwin praised Ramsey Nouah's performance, stating that his involvement transformed the project. "Ramsey brought an extraordinary energy to the film, taking it to a level beyond what we initially envisioned," he noted. 'A Country Called Ghana' explores themes of patriotism, resilience, and identity, featuring a stellar lineup of actors, including Kwadwo Nkansah, Ramsey Nouah, Charles Awurum, Victor Osuagwu, Omar Krupp, Paa George, Afriyie Forson, and other celebrated Ghanaian and Nigerian talents.

While the journey to completing the film was not without its hurdles, Lilwin is confident that the final product will resonate with audiences, thanks in part to Ramsey Nouah's game-changing contribution.
