President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has reaffirmed his administration's commitment to the equitable development of all regions across Ghana, irrespective of their political affiliations. Speaking at the commissioning of Phase III of the Bolgatanga Regional Hospital on Friday, President Akufo-Addo emphasised that the government's focus is on serving every Ghanaian without bias or discrimination. "The Akufo-Addo government remains committed to the development and well-being of every Ghanaian," the President stated. "We want to assure the nation that we act without bias or discrimination. This edifice we are commissioning is situated in a region that has historically not supported the political objectives of our party, the New Patriotic Party (NPP). However, this has not prevented us from giving strong support to its development and completion." The newly commissioned phase of the hospital project includes essential facilities such as a modern mortuary block, accommodation for doctors, a relative hostel, a medical gas building, and a comprehensive fence wall. Additionally, the hospital now boasts a state-of-the-art kitchen, a Central Sterile Services Department (CSSD), and a laundry facility, all of which contribute to the hospital's overall functionality.
